My goal with everything I do is to empower people to take control of their own health, to stop handing over the responsibility of feeling fantastic to someone else - there is no quick fix, magic pill or perfect diet. There’s just showing up every day, listening to your own body and making conscious and measured decisions. 

Whatever Instagram is telling you, there is no holy grail of health, let alone diet. Avocado on toast is not the be all and end all, neither are overnight oats. What works for you may not work for another…

That being said, the principles in the book are aimed at decreasing inflammation by eliminating the most common pro-inflammatory foods that people tend to have an issue with (grains, dairy, sugar and processed omega 6 vegetable oils), in favour of a more ‘ancestral-paleo’ approach to diet. In other words what humans have been eating for centuries and that we know causes little issue in our bodies.
